Anti Down Draught Cowls

A static antidown draught chimney shielld your chimney from the wind penetrating the chimney which can cause smoke to escape from the fireplace (Solid Fuel or Gas) stove back into your house. This is commonly known a ss a chimney down draught. An anti down draught cowl does nothing to prevent cold air coming down the chimney when the fire is not working. The expection to this is the H Cowl.
